Hello, I'm Emma and I've always loved drawing. For what ?

 Because drawing is magical. Sitting down to draw is, above all, taking the time to engrave a moment in your memory. And when I give my world this attention, it returns it to me! When I pass by a place that I have “sketched”, it has enriched its character in my eyes. I recognize every rock I have drawn and it reminds me of a specific moment, even years later. Drawing is magical, regardless of whether it is successful or not (well, I will surely be able to convince myself of that one day).

 During my Design studies, I got it into my head that drawing was only a tool used for concrete, “useful”, “serious” projects. But little by little, he resumed the role that he had always had in my eyes, that of narrator, an opening onto imaginary places or on the contrary a zoom on an everyday detail, which allows us to give a new perspective to a object then considered of no interest.

 I consider embroidery as another form of drawing, the ink becomes thread and the gesture differs, but I get the same satisfaction from it. And one day I will surely discover other techniques that I will want to explore in turn.
